Collection: Hemostasis dressing

Hemostasis dressings have hemostatic properties and can thus help stop bleeding without pressure or the like. Several of the bandages work regardless of the body's own coagulation ability, which means that they work regardless of temperature or the like. These dressings are often used where a pressure dressing is difficult or inappropriate or where a wound cavity must be packed deeply. This can, for example, be injuries to the abdomen where dressings are otherwise difficult to apply.
