ViTri wound-care and dressing products

For minor wounds, the range includes pre-cut ViTri plasters and plaster rolls. Film dressings with pads are sterile, shower-resistant dressings with light absorption, while island dressings have an absorbent pad on a nonwoven backing and are not intended as waterproof shower dressings. The stated dimensions refer to the complete dressing, not only the wound pad.

Sterile compresses and wound pads are used as primary cover or secondary dressings and require fixation with tape, a tubular bandage or a fixation bandage. Wound-closure strips are non-elastic, thread-reinforced strips. These products serve different purposes and should not be treated as interchangeable merely because their dimensions are similar.

Bandages, fixation tape and sports tape

ViTri offers several bandages with distinct properties. SelfFix is cohesive and grips itself. The Universal Bandage is a medium-stretch support and fixation bandage, while the Fixation Bandage is an elastic short-stretch bandage for securing dressings. Compression bandages must be selected and used according to the product instructions and clinical advice.

The tape range includes gentle surgical tape for fixation on more sensitive skin, wide nonwoven fixation tape, white sports tape and skin-coloured zinc-oxide tape. Check the material, adhesive and intended use on the product page before ordering.

Compare size, quantity and part number

Several ViTri products are available both individually and in clinical packs. Two pages may therefore have identical dimensions but different part numbers and quantities. Start with the product family, select the size and then check the pack. Product pages keep the closest size alternatives separate from products that genuinely complement the purchase.

The range also includes pressure dressings, emergency blankets, triangular bandages, dressing scissors, forceps, CPR barriers and dressing bags. Models 2, 3 and 8 differ in size, carrying method and whether contents are included. Read the individual product page rather than assuming that the model number describes the contents.
