By combining two materials with very different physical properties in one casting, our throat tube design makes the separate bit block, found in all conventional throat tubes, redundant.
Loose or dislodged bite blocks pose a real threat to patient safety and have previously been the subject of numerous safety notices. With our pharyngeal tube design, these risks disappear. In addition to improved safety, the pharyngeal tube now has a soft end that reduces the risk of trauma to the patient.
