Collection: Sacci

Sacci, a company with deep roots in the Swedish tradition of craftsmanship and innovation, has a fascinating history that stretches back to 1914. Originally founded in Torsång, Dalarna, by Wiktor Haglöf under the name Haglöfs, the company began with the manufacture and sale of backpacks for forestry farmers. This was the beginning of a journey that would take Sacci from small-scale production to become a leading player in the development and manufacture of wearables and textile-based products.

During the 1930s, a collaboration with the Swedish Defense Forces began, which marked the start of a new era of expansion and innovation. After Wiktor Haglöf's sons, Rolf and Hans, took over the company in 1956, a period of diversification began with an increased focus on leisure products. During the 1970s, as part of the Bonnier Group's Frostagruppen, Sacci cemented its position as one of Sweden's leading producers of carrying equipment.

A new chapter began in 1987 when Hans Haglöf bought back the production unit in Borlänge, with a vision to continue providing high-quality products for the military, healthcare and industry. This rebirth led to the reconstruction of the company in 1990 and the adoption of the new name Sacci AB in 1992.

Today, Sacci is run by Wiktor Haglöf's great-granddaughters, the sisters Julia and Felicia Haglöf, who manage the legacy with a careful balance between tradition and innovation. Sacci's commitment to quality is deeply rooted in an understanding of the products' use in demanding environments. By carefully selecting materials and reinforcing critical parts, Sacci ensures that their products not only meet but exceed user expectations.

Sacci's history is a story of passion, craftsmanship and a tireless pursuit of quality. From its humble beginnings to today's global presence, Sacci continues to inspire and equip people all over the world, whether they are professional users or adventurers looking for reliable carry gear. With a strong foundation in the past and a clear eye towards the future, Sacci stands ready to face new challenges and continue to innovate to make the wearing experience easier and more sustainable for everyone.
