Sacci offers several modular medical bags with similar names. The important difference is not only size: Medpac, Multipac and Minpac have different carrying styles and use different inserts. Start with the workflow, choose the size and then verify the part number of every inner or middle insert.

Sacci Medpac – the emergency backpack
Medpac is made for carrying equipment as a backpack. Both Small and Medium accommodate two inner inserts and one middle insert, all sold separately. An empty Medpac is therefore not a complete emergency bag: the organisation selects the interior and its contents.
Sacci Medpac Small is part number 120690, measures 330 × 420 × 240 mm and weighs 1,570 g. Our compatible accessories are middle insert 116123 and inner inserts 120642 and 120644.
Sacci Medpac Medium is part number 120691, measures 370 × 430 × 240 mm and also weighs 1,570 g according to Sacci's current product page. The compatible stocked inserts are 120140, 120622 and 120624.
Sacci Multipac – low bag with Fidlock buckles
Multipac is carried by its handle or shoulder strap. Sacci describes the model as providing an overview when opened, and the opening uses Fidlock buckles. Small and Medium have separate accessories; a similar insert name does not mean the two sizes can be mixed.
Multipac Small, part number 120697, weighs 1,200 g and measures 320 × 240 × 150 mm. Four inserts in our range are made for Small: 120686, 120687, 120713 and 120714.
Multipac Medium, part number 120698, weighs 1,500 g and measures 370 × 285 × 150 mm. Medium uses 120688, 120689, 120715 and 120716.
Sacci Minpac – the compact system
Minpac medical bag is the smaller model with double handles, space for two selectable inner inserts and areas for identification patches. Part number 120694 weighs 970 g and measures 305 × 330 × 145 mm.
Four Minpac inner inserts are available: 120675, 120676, 120677 and 120678. Their layouts determine how large and small items can be separated. Do not choose by the number alone; compare the pocket layout with the actual equipment list. The Child and Dressing patches identify the intended contents but do not mean that a bag is complete.
Specialist bags: MASCAL, Duffpac, oxygen and infusion
MASCAL Assessment Pouch is a smaller bag with several pockets, carried by handle, shoulder strap or belt. Duffpac 40 L and 65 L are transport bags; Sacci lists transporting several MASCAL bags as one use case.
Respiratory-care options include O2 Light and the smaller Oxytube for an oxygen cylinder. The infusion thermo bag and infusion warmer solve different needs: one uses electrical warming in the ambulance, while the other is an insulated sleeve with activatable Thermogel and a built-in pressure cuff.
Build a consistent set
- Start with the organisation's equipment list. The bag should carry an agreed set rather than decide what is purchased.
- Choose the carrying style. Backpack, hand/shoulder bag or compact bag comes before the inserts.
- Fix the model and size. Record both name and part number.
- Choose compatible inserts. Keep Medpac, Multipac and Minpac separate.
- Document the layout. Consistent placement across several bags reduces searching, but the local layout still needs training and review.
