Compatibility and patient group
The same SMART Pads II are used for adults and children; the FRx Infant/Child Key activates paediatric mode. Patient group: Adults and children via the AED's paediatric mode. Stated shelf life: At least 2 years from manufacture as labelled. Always follow the manufacturer's label and instructions supplied with the delivered package.
Inspection and replacement
The product is supplied sealed and is intended for single use. Check that the package is intact and that the expiry date has not passed. Open it only when needed and replace it after use or expiry. Never match by brand alone: one manufacturer may use different connectors across its models.
