The powder sprinkler offers cost-effective and reliable fire protection for small spaces and point protection. It is ideal for areas with flammable equipment, such as waste rooms and industrial environments with certain flammable processes and machinery. This type of sprinkler is easy and cheap to install compared to traditional systems, as it does not require piping, connection or power supply. The sprinkler, made of steel and filled with powder, is equipped with a nickel-plated brass valve and a manometer for pressure monitoring. Pressurized with nitrogen to 15 bar, it is PED approved and activates at 68 degrees when the glass bulb in the valve explodes, opening the valve. After use, it can be recharged. The powder is versatile and effective for extinguishing fires in electrical equipment up to 1000 volts and is frost resistant, working in temperatures from -30°C to +60°C.
