SWAT-T Tourniquet in orange
SWAT-T™ means Stretch, Wrap and Tuck. This broad elastic polyisoprene band can function as a tourniquet, as a pressure dressing over gauze, or as a wrap securing a splint. It has no windlass and therefore differs from CAT, SAM XT and SOF.
Visual stretch markings
Printed symbols on the band show how the material stretches during application. Deployed dimensions are 142.2 × 10.2 cm, weight is about 113 g, and it is not made with natural rubber latex. The manufacturer also specifies use on small limbs.
Orange for high visibility
The orange version is easier to find in a bag and see on the patient. Function is unchanged. The product is non-sterile. Product information does not replace hands-on training; application differs from a windlass tourniquet.
