The powder sprinkler is a cost-effective and reliable solution for fire protection in small spaces and for specific risk areas, ideal for places with flammable equipment such as waste rooms, containers and certain industrial processes. Its ease of installation, requiring no piping, connection or power supply, compared to conventional sprinkler systems, makes it an attractive alternative. The sprinkler container, made of steel and filled with powder, is equipped with a nickel-plated brass valve and a manometer for pressure monitoring. With a pressure of 15 bar and PED approved under the Pressure Vessel Directive, the sprinkler is activated when the glass bulb in the valve reaches 68 degrees and explodes, opening the valve. It can be recharged after use. The powder is effective for extinguishing fires in electrical equipment up to 1000 volts and is frost resistant, working between -30°C to +60°C. This sprinkler covers an area of ​​9 m².
