H&H Hyvent Vented Chest Seal Twin Pack 23 x 21 cm

H&H Medical introduces the newest product in our line of hydrogel chest dressings, the Hyvent Laminar Ventilated Chest Dressing. Like our world-class Bolin Chest Seal, the patented H*VENT design works to relieve pressure from an open chest wound due to air in the chest (pneumothorax) or body fluid (hemothorax).

The main features of the H*VENT Laminar Ventilated Chest Dressing include:

A unique ventilated bandage in several directions. This allows the fluids to "drain against gravity". Important as it means that misfortune can be transported on their side etc.

The design helps prevent occlusion. This provides a fail-safe system as there are 6 ports. Even if 5 is blocked, the valve will be fully operational.

The unique design of the dome membrane creates a complete seal around the wound area, ensuring a complete seal around the wound and reducing the risk of air or fluid finding alternative pathways.

Large ventilation openings on the H * VENT Laminar Ventilated Chest Dressing enable visual monitoring of the wound. The dome design provides quick indication of air or fluid leaving the chest (bulging up) or when the seal is in place (sucking down).

Proven in internal testing to maintain a seal during inhalation and to maintain a sustained negative pressure (below ambient pressure) within the pleural space.

Lowest profile of any vented chest seal and easy to fold.

The H*VENT Laminar Ventilated Chest Dressing is sold in a single pack and a double pack with two individually sealed chest seals connected for easy access and use. Both versions have a shelf life of 5 years.
