NAR Tactical CricKit

Tactical CricKit® is the result of an 18-month collaboration with military doctors worldwide. Phase 1 of the project was to define the functional requirements for performing a surgical cricothyroidotomy in a tactical environment. Phase 2 was to initiate the development of a small, easy-to-use kit that focused on intuitive exercise behavior. The result of this effort is the Tactical CricKit®. The Tactical CricKit® provides the operator with all the necessary tools to perform a correct cricothyroidotomy in a low cubic and durable package, and is the ideal kit for performing a cricothyroidotomy in difficult environments. To facilitate both training situations and live fire situations, the components are provided in the correct order. When rolled out, the Tactical CricKit's 500-denier pocket provides a clean work surface for the operator, allowing it to be used even in low-light and battlefield environments. The Tactical Crickit also provides the user with a tracheal tube that is both the perfect size and length, along with an attachment device that facilitates secondary treatment and CASEVAC. To combat microbial contamination, the Tactical CricKit® comes with alcohol pads for immediate disinfection and povidone for long-term protection. The Tactical CricKit® was specifically designed to meet the CoTCCC requirements for a surgical airway kit.
