SAM XT Tourniquet in orange
SAM XT is a windlass tourniquet for controlling life-threatening bleeding from arms and legs. It is recommended by the CoTCCC and can be applied as self-aid or partner-aid.
TRUFORCE™ reduces slack before winding
The TRUFORCE buckle auto-locks once a predetermined circumferential force is reached. This eliminates nearly all slack before the windlass is turned and makes the number of turns more predictable. The XT600 windlass is made of 6061-T6 aluminium.
High-visibility orange version
Hi-Viz Orange makes the tourniquet easier to find in a bag and easier to see on the patient. Colour does not change function. The part number is XT600-OR-EN. Practise the click–twist–secure sequence with the model carried.
